Goolwa is at the southern end of South Australia in the Fleurieu Peninsula.
It is situated at the end of the River Murray where the river flows into the lakes and then into the Southern Ocean. It is also the first Cittislow town in the Southern Hemisphere.
Goolwa had one of the first Railways in Australia which ran from Goolwa to Port Elliot and the Museum houses the first caravan.

Becoming a Lion
We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supporting people with a disability, community greening, fundraising for worthwhile causes.
Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
Be a part of the change. Join the Goolwa Lions Club.
